How should I prepare for my spray tan?
For the best results, exfoliate and complete any shaving at least 24 hours before your appointment when possible. Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotion, oils, deodorant, perfume and makeup.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Whatever you’re comfortable in! During your tan, you can wear underwear, disposable garments provided by us, or nothing at all. After your appointment, we recommend loose, dark clothing and easy-to-slip-on
shoes.

Should I get my nails, facial, massage or wax before my spray tan?
Yes! We recommend completing manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials and massages before your spray tan. These services can exfoliate the skin or use products that may affect your tan.

Can I spray tan if I have an event coming up?
Absolutely. For weddings and other major events, we typically recommend tanning 1–2 days before your event so your color has time to fully develop and settle.

How long does a spray tan appointment take?
Most appointments take around 15–20 minutes from start to finish.

Will I look orange?
No! Your tan is customized to your skin tone and desired result. Our goal is always a natural-looking, even glow.

What is the difference between a Rapid Tan and an 8-Hour Tan?
The biggest difference is how long you wait before your first rinse. Rapid solutions allow you to rinse much sooner, while our traditional solution develops for approximately 8 hours before rinsing. Your artist will help you choose the best option for your skin and schedule.

Can I choose how dark I want to be?
Yes! We’ll talk about your desired color before we begin and customize your tan accordingly. Whether you want a subtle glow or a deeper bronze, we’ve got you.

Do you offer a clear spray tan?
Yes! Our clear option develops gradually without the instant cosmetic bronzer, making it a great option if you prefer to leave your appointment without visible guide color.

What do I wear during my spray tan?
This is completely up to you and your comfort level. You may tan in underwear, disposable garments, or nude. Our priority is making you feel comfortable throughout your appointment.

AFTER YOUR TAN

When can I shower?
Your artist will give you a specific rinse time based on the solution used during your appointment. Following that rinse time is one of the most important parts of getting the best result!

What should I do during my first shower?
Your first rinse should be quick and with lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating the skin. Don’t worry if you see color washing down the drain—that’s the cosmetic bronzer rinsing away, not your tan!

How long will my spray tan last?
Most spray tans last approximately 7–10 days, depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare.

How can I make my tan last longer?
Hydration is everything! Moisturize daily, avoid excessive exfoliation, and gently pat your skin dry after showering instead of rubbing with your towel. Swimming, hot tubs, long baths and excessive sweating can cause your tan to fade more quickly.

Why does my tan look lighter after my first rinse?
Totally normal! The cosmetic bronzer rinses away during your first shower, so you may temporarily look lighter. Your actual tan will continue developing afterward.

Do you offer a spray tan membership?
Yes! Our Unlimited All-Inclusive Membership is designed for clients who want to make their glow part of their regular routine.
Members can tan as often as they’d like during their membership cycle and choose from any of our tan options, with add-ons included.

How much is the Unlimited Membership?
Our Unlimited All-Inclusive Membership is $120 every 4 weeks.

Are add-ons included for members?
Yes! Your membership is all-inclusive, so you can enjoy your tan and available add-ons without paying for them separately.

How do members book?

Can I spray tan while pregnant?
We recommend checking with your healthcare provider before spray tanning while pregnant.

Can I spray tan with sensitive skin?
Many clients with sensitive skin spray tan successfully, but everyone’s skin is different. If you have specific allergies, sensitivities or skin concerns, please let us know before your appointment.

Is spray tanning better than tanning beds?
Spray tanning gives you a bronzed appearance without intentionally exposing your skin to UV radiation. ATBH is a sunless tanning studio—we do not offer UV tanning beds.

I’ve never had a spray tan before. Will you walk me through everything?
Of course! First-timers are always welcome. Your artist will explain the process, help you choose your tan, walk you through positioning, and give you personalized rinse and aftercare instructions before you leave.
You don’t need to know what to book or exactly what shade you want—that’s what we’re here for.

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change! We ask that all appointments be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of your
appointment will be charged according to our cancellation policy.

Can I spray tan while breastfeeding?
Absolutely! You can still enjoy a spray tan while breastfeeding. We have a few simple tips and tricks to help protect your tan while keeping any solution from transferring onto your baby. Just let your artist know that you’re breastfeeding at your appointment and we’ll walk you through
everything you need to know.
